Crafty Old Man

Where to begin had a week off work and had so much wanted to do but as usual only about half of it got done opps lol

A friend is running a charity Christmas fair in December and running a raffle which she was looking for prizes and happened to see a blanket I had made previously so I offered to make one to be a prize.  I had hoped to finish the blanket this week but unfortunately it’s not quite there.  But I will update when it is :-). Here is a quick pic taken the other day to show what’s on my hook for twitter…

So it happened to be my birthday last week and my amazing fiancé happen to chose me a couple of gifts based on me mentioning I would like to have a go at knitting so he got me a how to book and some patterns…

I had to explain the patterns might be a tad advanced for the moment it hope to be able to make use of them in the future! And in the meantime I also got a couple of kits to help me along the way (I know I’m spoilt)…

I might a have treated myself with a little prezzie for myself as well…
