I’m still here ☺️

Again it’s been a while since my last post lots happened at home and work has kept me a very busy boy!

I have plodded on with current WIP’s (works in progress) but decided the other day it was time to get out of my comfort zone and try something new.

So after looking around I decided circular needle knitting might be something to try.

I bought a TOFT Strata Hat kit from John Lewis for £30.00, a tad expensive but after reading reviews online thought it would be worth the money.

I must confess when opened the packet I was very impressed with the quality of needles, wool etc

The only little thing which was miffed with (was going to say disappointed but that’s too harsh) was the stitch marker it is nice that it’s metal and sturdy but so thin and small I ended up grabbing one of the bright plastic ones I use for crochet.

The online videos for casting on and how to attach your first row into the circular were really easy to follow and managed it first time!

I managed to complete the hat in one evening which was good as could see it coming together really quickly. I will be making more in different colours that’s for sure but not too sure about the Pom Pom might have to remove it if honest 🤔

Right I am now off to make a table plan and produce some name place cards because getting married in a couple of months and all getting very close and need to tick things off the many lists argh 😬 but mind you I do love a list so not really complaining 😇
