Quick evening crochet project πŸŒ΅

So whilst watching Saturday night TV πŸ“Ί and chilling out I have made a small gift for my crafting friend @hev77 (on Instagram). After she has been looking around for a succulent called string of pearls and not finding them I thought would give it a go 😬

I used Emma Varnam’s pattern from her book Crocheted Succulents. I don’t have the book myself as the pattern was in a booklet with Inside Crochet magazine but if the others are as good as this one I am very tempted πŸ‘πŸ§ΆπŸ₯°

Anyway to make the basics you crochet the soil which is basically a ball in brown I made mine on a 4mm hook for pot size…

And then you make the various lengths of the Strands from green yarn…

They are done on a 3.5 hook and once you have the components you just attach the strands to the top and drop it into a plant pot πŸ‘

Love it looks so good and is perfect to do if you are starting out with amigurumi πŸ₯°πŸ§Ά

So that’s it for the short post today will catch up soon πŸ₯°

Oh and I think I have the social media buttons working now so pop by and say hi πŸ‘πŸ§ΆπŸ‘πŸ€“
