Crafty Old Man

Productive time at crafty Old Man manor 🧐 well flat 🤪

Happy to report have managed to finish some of my WIP’s so thought was time for update.

If you read my last post then you will know had first craft afternoon, with many more to come 👍 we didn’t manage to complete the embroidery in one sitting but I did return home and complete it a couple of days later so thought a finished pic was in order 🐝

Now I know it needs ironing and haven’t found a frame I like yet but here it is…

I have also come up with an idea of doing a tiny embroidery bee in a miniature hoop to hang from the bottom of it but that’s still to be decided? Any comments or ideas welcome just message me below!

@hev77 who I did the kit with has gone a slightly different route to personalise hers which I think looks amazing! Her interpretation is to pick out the wing details in metallic threads which I think you will agree looks fab🥰👍…

The other project which I can now post about was for my Mums birthday which has now been given as a present so can show pics. My parents are moving house so whilst helping with the clearing of the attic we came across their engagement and wedding cards so I have put them all into a scrapbook for her. It’s my first attempt at scrapbooking but managed to come up with a different design for each page and found it very therapeutic to do. I should of taken more pictures but here are a few of the pages I did snap pics off…

I’m really pleased with the way it came out and proud that they have been preserved to be enjoyed by Mum whenever she wishes 🥰

A quick update on the cross stitch SAL I am also doing with @hev77 nearly there can wait for it to be done as love the design but also loving doing it so when it is done will miss doing it , if that makes sense lol 🤔😝…

Final thing just because I can really 🤓 is a pic of myself but not what you would probably expect 😁. Guess should give some back story to it, at work they do a staff member of the month award thingy 🤪 and the prize each time is a Simpson’s character of yourself so here I am if you wondered what I look like….
