I trust everyone has had a great Bank Holiday weekend!

Ours has been a busy one and I have to say very productive. First I can now happily say that I have finally finished the Tattoo cross stitch 🧵✂️🥳🎉🥳

So proud to have finished and after a trip out yesterday managed to find a frame to put it in and may be a bit biased but I think it looks pretty good 🤓

It’s a strange feeling when you have completed a bigger project because you so pleased with the result but then there is this kind of whole where the excitement of getting close to completing a project has been.

I don’t know about others but I always take time then to start the next project as get a apprehensive feeling about starting from scratch 😬

Once I am off and running I am always fine and the crojo takes over so not sure what it’s about really 🧐🤔🙄

My next project I am going to get on with I think is a new kit I managed to pick up this weekend. It’s another On the wing kit by DMC part of the same set the bee 🐝 one is from,and this one is called Song Bird…

Luckily I picked up this kit at half price from Hobbycraft and before I picked up the frames. This meant I got two other frames one for the bee 🐝 and one for this when finished so they match 👍

As you can see the second frame is empty awaiting the new embroidery but wanted to get the placement on the wall right. Fingers crossed 🤞 it with spur me on to get it completed quickly 🧵✂️🤓

On another note last weekend Aldi release a range of Harry Potter kits in their middle isle baskets and I might of made the husband get up early and join me at the store for opening 😇. The reason for getting there so early was because they released then for online sale the week before and they had sold out by 07:00 am when I tried 😱😱😱

Anyway I might of picked up a couple 🤓🧶🥰 (small nerdgasm!)

And as you can see in second pic I might of accidentally dropped some Harry Potter fat quarters in the trolly 😇 going to embroider onto one of them a HP design if I can decide on one and not get lost in ideas on Pinterest 🤪🤪🤪 many hours have slipped by looking already 🤦‍♂️

Right well that’s enough of my ramblings for on evening I could go on but got to leave something for next time which will include details of eBay purchase due in next couple of days and also kit for new craft but will update on that once I have had a go 🥴🥴🥴
