Happy New Year All πŸ₯³πŸ₯³πŸ₯³

I know it’s been a while again πŸ˜” Had so much planned for end of the year but unfortunately life decided to teach me a lesson. To achieve your goals sometimes you need patience πŸ€”

Long story short we put our flat onto the market back in August and found a house we loved and had offer excepted on 😍

So that was easy part lol anyway quick version seller pulling out after excepted by us and sale process started 😳 Managed to get another seller quickly but solicitor asking some very strange questions we thought must be stalling the sale πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ. Basically if wasn’t for us saying we would pull out if didn’t go through then think we would still be waiting!

Friday the 13th December we moved into our new house πŸ₯³πŸ₯³πŸ₯³

Unfortunately for two weeks over Christmas I was sick πŸ€’ so no decorations or tree over Christmas πŸŽ„ which if you know me then it’s not good πŸ˜”

Right well that’s my excuses out the way I did manage some crafts through all this and this is a craft blog so let’s crack on 😊

The above kit I purchased at The Handmade Festival from the Stitchsperation stand. The kit is cross stitch over even weave fabric. I haven’t used even weave for a long time always on Aida. It soon comes flooding back though.

Love the design and hoped to have it framed ready for Christmas but that will have to be this year now!

A colleague at work having a baby this year so I had to make a blanket quick and give it to her before all the packing etc took over and found some nice neutral coloured soft baby yarn 🧢 Here is a pic part way through I forgot to take a finished article picture πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ

The blanket was a corner 2 corner crochet stitch on a 10mm hook and worked up really quickly so happy to say was given before packing started and got put away never to be found again lol

As everyone knows I love a bargain and these are a couple of charity shop finds I got..

Who doesn’t love jars of beads and buttons 😍

I did manage a bit of felting as well and made a small mushroom πŸ„ decoration for a friends Christmas tree. It was done by felting within a cookie cutter in the shape of a mushroom. I had seen the technique online and wanted to give it a go…

That was all the crafting I managed to do what with all the paperwork and enquiries regarding the move.

This year though will be planning much more now that in the house and won’t be moving again for a looong that’s for sure lol

One small thing I have made since the move is for my husband who can trip over the flattest floor and bump into anything around πŸ₯°πŸ˜ŠπŸ₯°…

The one thing which has been purchased since the house move which should up my crafting game is the little purchase of a Cricut Maker 😍πŸ₯³πŸ€“πŸ₯³πŸ˜

The Smile Card is the practice kit which comes with the machine, so much to learn but so excited to see what can be done!! Watch this space πŸ˜‚

I have to do a shout out to @hev77 for Christmas presents the first one is a joint present for both of us made by her own fair hands..

You have to love concrete Lego figures with gilded trousers 😍😍😍

The other one was for myself and after we didn’t get a chance to meet him at The Handmade Festival was such a nice surprise to get signed copy of Mr X Stitch’s book πŸ₯³πŸ₯°πŸ₯³

Well I have to run all these YouTube videos on the Cricut won’t watch themselves πŸ˜‚

To keep up to date with what I am up to follow my social media links on homepage and if have any tips on Cricut Maker let me know πŸ˜‰πŸ§Άβœ‚οΈπŸ§΅βœ‚οΈπŸ§Ά
