Saw an advert the other day for new crochet series called a Big & Little Crochet and the first one is only 99p so thought was definitely worth a look!!
Couldn’t find it in the local supermarkets so it was just the excuse I needed off to Hobbycraft I went π (we won’t mention the Β£30 of yarn which somehow came back with meπ€ͺ)

Should of taken a picture of it in the package but forgot π
As you can see from the above picture it comes with the first book and also a size 4.0mm hook and the first two balls of yarn to make the first section of a blanket. The series of books each two weeks provide you with the next hexagon to make towards a complete blanket at the end. The first hexagon is called Treble Rose Hexagon I haven’t done it yet but will do soon and put a picture of it up.

I’ve included the picture of the Contents page to show you the projects which are in the book, flicking through I have to say I will definitely be giving most of them a go!
Also the Stitch Library and Crochet School are very useful, yes it covers the basics but the way they explain with helpful pictures I can’t wait till later editions with new stitches to try that I haven’t before!
I have subscribed to the series as been impressed with the first one and part two will also be at a reduced price of Β£2.99. The normal price is Β£4.99 per issue but subscribe online for every third one free and also a series of free gifts over the course of the subscription.
I’m sure I will attempt another review when I receive part two π€
Update:
So I have completed the first hexagon for the throw from book 1 and it’s not been blocked yet but think it looks ok π
