A very Happy Easter one and all hope you are having a good Easter Sunday! It’s been a good day here starting with taking out Bianca for a run around the common and chance to run like a looney with other dogs πΆ

The beastie at full speed coming back for a treat.πΆπ₯°
Then the day has been spent with a little cleaning but mainly crafting and watching TV πΊ. Now sat as the darkness draws in with a vodka in hand writing this update bliss π€ if I stop making sense at any point then it’s the vodka honest ππ
So to update on the last post I haven’t managed to do any of the ivy embroidery I’m afraid or the scrapbook project but only so many hours in the day and too many WIP’s π³π¬π’
I have managed to pick up a couple of bargains whilst out and about π. To go with the Christmas cross stitch kit I showed you on the last post I managed to pick up another one of the series which I love just as much as the first one I got!π₯°…

Just love the Scandinavian feel to the design and although says Β£35.00 I manage to get this one for Β£17.50 the same as last one at half price π I definitely recommend looking out for kits outside of their seasons as can get some great bargainsπ
And talking of bargains (well I think they are!) I picked up a couple of recycled rubber tyre baskets to store some of my yarn π§Ά until I get round to crochet or knitting it into something π€…

I picked them up for Β£19.99 each from Home Sense which I think was a great price and perfect for what I wanted.
I also picked up a new pair of scissors as my old pair (20 odd years) have finally got to blunt to cut thread cleanly …

The top pair are the new ones slightly larger but so sharp βοΈπ
Lastly my final purchase to mention is two books from Aldi by Kirstie Allsopp π₯° got rid of my books when moved onto canal boat to live so enjoying picking things up again now on dry land especially if at discount π…

Bit of light reading before The Handmade Festival π₯°ππ₯°
The main craft I have been doing at the moment is the SAL with @hev77 I mentioned we were going to tackle once all our threads etc arrived. So as you can probably guess the threads etc turned up and we started about a week or so ago! Anyway here are the pics of my progress so far in stages …

It’s getting there just under half way done I guess and I am loving doing it so much! It’s definitely got my crojo back doing it π₯°π₯°π₯°
Right well that’s enough of my rambling on π I’m going to leave you with one last pic that popped up on my Facebook which I had to share π

Anyway if you fancy keeping up with whatever I am up to then don’t forget to like my social media pages …
